To be a Player

Players come in all shapes and sizes.

Old and young, boys and girls, extrovert and introvert, shy and bombastic, perfect pitch and tone deaf and so on and so forth.

For the Breadth and Depth of material we do, it really does take all kinds.

In addition to the front end performing there is:

Writing         Music         Set Design & Build         Props and Costumes         Direction & Production

Front of House             Sound             Lights       And last but by no means least the Staging, Stagehands or Propsmasters.

(Anyone who has tried committing suicide on stage - with the dagger that everyone forgot to put there - soon learns how important Stagehands are)

Although it is possible to stick with one role, most of us prefer to give different things a try.

We get the opportunity to find out what we are best at, to learn and develop skills in new areas and to try things we never thought we would.

Our format provides a real opportunity for the newcomer especially to give it a try in a low risk and supportive environment.

So give us a call. You will be invited to sit around with a few of us to either just listen in, or join in, to short readings and discussions about our current or future performances.
